Healthcare Incident Liaison (HIL)

Staff at COTS function as the Healthcare Incident Liaison (HIL) providing 24/7 coverage to the hospitals and other coalition healthcare partners.

The HIL provides:

• Situational awareness

• Collection, collation, and monitoring of health care system performance and capacity

• Management of health care system logistic requests in coordination with national, state, and local agencies

• The critical link between healthcare facilities, public health departments, and other government partners
